Submit Your Abstract for the African Indaba for Education

Calling all educators, researchers, and changemakers! We invite you to submit your abstract for the African Indaba for Education, a groundbreaking event that will shape the future of learning in Africa.

 

This three-day conference offers a unique platform to:

Share your innovative ideas and research on education

Contribute to critical discussions on improving learning outcomes

Create an Account

Click the ‘Submit Abstract’ button at the top or bottom of this page.

Create a personal account in the submission portal. (Note: All future communication will be sent to this registered author.)

You do not need to register for the conference before submitting your abstract.

Submit Your Abstract

Once logged in, access the online submission form.

Submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations by completing the form.

Choose “Save As Draft” if you need more time to edit your abstract, or click “Submit” to send it for review.

If you save your abstract as a draft, you can return to it later by logging in and accessing the “Edit Abstracts” tab.

Deadline

Ensure your abstract is submitted before the deadline: 24th November 2024 at 23:59 GMT+1.

After submission, you will receive a confirmation email with a summary of your submission.

Instructions for Oral and Poster Abstracts

Deadline: Abstracts must be submitted online by 24th November 2024 at 23:59 GMT+1.

Language: Submissions in English or French are accepted.

Word Limit: Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.

Structure: Follow this format: Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, Conclusions. If your abstract doesn’t fit this structure, use appropriate headings.

Title: The abstract title should be no longer than 20 words.

Abbreviations: Spell out abbreviations the first time they appear.

Images: Tables and graphs can be submitted as an attached image (gif, png, jpg, jpeg, tif, tiff; max. 15 MB; max. 1500px). Reference these images in your abstract (e.g., Table 1, Figure 1).

PDF Submissions: You do not need to submit a PDF version alongside the form.

Personal Data: Do not include any personal data about specific individuals

Submission and Notification

Confirmation: You will receive an automated email acknowledging your abstract submission within 3Days. If you do not receive this email, or if you need assistance, please contact abstracts@educationindaba-ebaseafrica.org

Review Process: Acceptance of abstracts will be based on scientific merit, relevance, clarity, and learning potential.

Presentation Type: Indicate your preference for an oral or poster presentation during submission, but the Abstract Subcommittee will make the final decision.

Notification Date: Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by 13 december 2024.

Create or Log in to Your Account: If you’re a new participant, create a personal account to manage your registration and event preferences. Returning users can simply log in. Complete the Registration Form: Fill out the required details, including your personal information, professional affiliation, and contact details. Select Your Registration Type: Choose the appropriate registration category based on your status (e.g., early bird, regular, student, etc.). Special discounts may be available for early registration or group bookings.

Choose Your Sessions

Select the sessions, workshops, and networking events you wish to attend. Customize your experience to align with your interests and professional goals. Payment: Secure your spot by completing the payment process online. We accept various payment methods, including credit card and bank transfer. An invoice and confirmation receipt will be sent to your registered email once payment is processed. Confirmation: After completing your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with a summary of your registration details. This email will also include important information about the event, such as session schedules and updates.
